Fishing Report
Good
News! The lake is back a normal pool. Fishing has been good on Fayette
County when you can get around the wind. This past week it blew
hard from the south
and then turned to the north for a surprise this week.
The bass have
finished spawning and you can find a bunch of fish in the 5-10
foot range. Early you can throw a soft jerk bait (watermelon) or a
spinner bait and
have a good bit of success. Look for grass. There is still
some around but the coots and the winter low water have conspired
to get most of it.
If you can find grass, you will find fish. Most of the grass
is isolated in about 5 feet Later
in the day, carolina rigged brush hog (watermelon) has also been
catching fish.
If you need an
update or want to book a trip just give me a shout!
