Two of my best friends "Buddy Humphrey & Jim Secor" with the New Mexico State Record Striper at 54.5 lbs. This fish was caught by Jim while on his first Striper trip to Elephant Butte Lake in Southern New Mexico. While tied to a buoy in 4 foot waves this monster hit a live shad and the fight was on. It will remain the most impressive memory in all of our minds forever. Good Catchin Jake!!
